Vocabulary You Should Know
- Solution- A solution is a substance mixed with another substance
- Solvent- A solvent is produced by a substance. A solvent is usually a liquid but can also be a solid or gas
- Solute- A solute is salt
- Aqueous Solution- A solution in which water is a solvent (ex. Rain) Aqueous means dissolved or related
- Electrolytes- Found in blood and fluids in the body. An electrolyte that can act as a conductor for electrolyte current when it forms into a solution
- Non-electrolytes- A non electrolyte is a covalent substance that does not dissolve as an ion but molecules
- Unsaturated- A substance that goes more into depth than saturated and has double or triple bond making more reactions
- Saturated- Combing a substance with another making a reaction
- Supersaturated- Exceeding a concentration than a saturated substance
- Molarity- The amount of moles of solute per litter (used in equations)
